Objective

Upon completion of the course, students will,
- be competent in applying their knowledge and skills in production processes, production control and development of production systems.
- be capable of selecting suitable methods for production in engineering shops.
- be capable of further developing their skills in workshop technology.
- can solve manufacturing tehnology things at an engineering group work

- Fastening components and working with materials that chip
- Sheet metal work
- Working with edging presses
- Methods used in welding
- FMS manufacturing
- Robotics in a machine shop
- 3D measuring in a machine shop
- Other important issues associated with machine shop manufacturing

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Level 1-2: The student is able to apply the production methods and functions of a machine shop in practice and show familiarity with them.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Level 3-4: The student is able to choose the most suitable production methods and functions for workshop use, and to show the effect of their application on production.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Level 5: The student is able to plan the operation of a machine shop as a process and demonstrate the ability to analyze the operation and goals of the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

No previous studies are required.
